Role and responsibilities

As a Data Steward, you are aiding DAO’s in breaking down recurring roles into individual skills, with the aim of making each role easy for new members to onboard into. This requires you to be confident speaking to strangers online, succinct and clear with the use of your language, and inquisitive into the nature of each DAO’s goals, processes, and tools.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience leading and facilitating interviews.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Confident communication with clients, expectation management and being able to make them feel comfortable.

  • Understanding and interest in the evolving web3 space.

Work etiquette

  • Please behave professionally and reduce visual noise on camera (items in background), auditory noise (background) and contextual noise (unnecessary words or comments) to a minimum.

  • Always listen to the client and pay attention to their needs.

  • Always-Be-Capturing. When someone speaks and the content of the conversation is important, write notes client's Miro board to make sure that you can refer back to them later.

  • Always have Discord open with the internal project channel for conversations with the team outside of Zoom.

  • Mute your phone and desktop notifications. You need to be 100% present in the interviews.

  • Don't eat, smoke or do any other activities during interviews. If you are not the main facilitator, turn off your camera in case you need to step away from the screen.

Before you start working it's important that you are connected with the rest of the team. We do this through a common calendar. Integrate the shared Onboarding Calendar with your own and vice versa. Login information will be provided before your first DAO interview.
