To follow all updates and start contributing,.
You need to familiarize yourself with the project and confirm by reacting to the post. The reaction will also give you the "Contributor" role on Discord and unlock the workstream channels.
By adding to your Google calendar you can see all internal events. We have a weekly progress review meeting (usually on Friday) which you can attend to learn what is currently being worked on and ask questions about where you can fit the most.
Since we don't know your skills, you need to give us an indication of what you are interested in. Follow a department channel of your choice to stay up-to-date with the developments in what interests you the most.
Based on the developments in the department you might have ideas about where and how to help. Try to understand specifically where you can bring value to a project.
If you are not sure but just want to shadow and observe, that's also an option.
Once you have a clear idea about how you can bring value or if you would like to shadow, reach out to a department representative (red name/role in Discord) with that information. They will either direct you to an existing project or help you set up a new project.
After discussing your contribution with a department or project owner, you can either join an existing project or create a new project. Use to create a new project.
Upon completion of a project, please share your results with the project or department representative. If you have completed the project alone, please use to share the news on Discord.
Whenever you complete work, you can request payment for a project or task. Please use to request the amount. It will be reviewed in Discord and paid out in , in case there is no USD available for spending.
