Below are some helpful prompts for the second call involved in DAO GitBook creation. Unless the expert you are interviewing is the same person from the first call, the beginning will have the same introduction and beginning questions. Similarly, the rest of the questions are simply prompts which can be adjusted, skipped over if irrelevant, and added onto.

Workflow

• For this role, what is the easiest thing to get started with?

• What is your own general approach to this role?

• What is the most difficult aspect of this role?

• Are there any helpful resources for those who are just beginning?

• Are there any references you personally use?

• What tools do you use? Is there a login to any of them?

• Is there a clear beginning and end of the project?

Coordination

• How can someone interested in contributing reach out?

• Which tools does your organization currently use for coordination?

• Which workstreams face the most ambiguity with project coordination?

• Which roles are more difficult or require more effort in coordination or onboarding?

• Many Web2 project management tools already exist. Which parts of the project management cycle do Web3 organizations face bottlenecks when using Web2 project management tools?

• What are the current solutions for members to visualize their growth trajectory and develop their interest areas?

Compensation

• Which roles are better suited for community-based distribution and why?

• Which roles are better suited for project-based distribution and why?

• How would a combination of the two work for different roles? Are these types of distribution mechanisms mutually exclusive?

• Describe a role that could benefit from both community and project based distribution.
